Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
As for your first question please read the Fatwa:82769.      1) The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "A perfect Mujahid is the one exerts each and every effort to make oneself right". Al-Tirmizi, Ahmad and al-AlBani in his book "al-Silsila al-Sahiha: The sound Series", and his other sound books.
Jihad with oneself means to avoid doing sins and doubtful matters as well as to get benefit from permissible desires cautiously. This action constitutes the perfect Jihad. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. Verily, Paradise will be his abode.}[79:40-41].
2) Your question about 'If anyone is totally attentive to Allah. …? We have no knowledge concerning such a saying. But, its meaning is correct as mentioned in the following sacred Hadith: "My servant keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (optional deeds) until I love him. When I love him, I will become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he grips, and his feet with which he walks; and if he asks Me (for anything), I would grant it to him; if he seeks refuge with Me, I will give him refuge". [Reported by Imam Bukhari ]
3) As for your question about Sadaqa, here is the answer. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "One of you may give all his property as Sadaqa, then he/she spends time begging money from the people; only the rich are advised to give Sadaqa". Reported by Abu Dawood, and al-Hakim said: 'This Hadith is correct and sound according to Imams Bukhari and Muslim conditions'. al-AlBani classified this Hadith weak in his book. "Compilation of weak Hadith".
Allah knows best.
