Question

Is removing part of the eyebrows forbidden in Islam? What about hair on my legs? If a woman has very hairy legs and the husband does not like it, can she remove them? If so please give me the proper references.

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. The hair of the leg is among the kinds of hair that the Lawmaker did not give a rule about. So, the person is free to remove it or leave it. As a result there is no objection to your removing the hair of your leg. For more details, please read Fatawa: 81968 and 81950. Allah knows best.
