Question
What is your view on Sheikh $Yusuf al-Qaradawi$$? What school of thought does he belong to?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. This site specializes in issuing Fatawa and does not discuss personalities. However, the duty of all Muslims towards Muslim scholars is to respect them, regard their efforts and acknowledge their struggle and sacrifices for Islam. As a general rule everyone's saying would be accepted or rejected except the Prophet's saying (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam). Nobody is infallible, so whatever conforms to Qur'an and Sunnah will be accepted and whatever contradicts them will be rejected. Allah knows best.
