Question
I want to know the meaning of my name "Ayas Ahmed". I am very eager to know it. Your earliest reply will be appreciated.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
The word ‘Iyas’ is derived from ‘al-Aws’, it means in Arabic language ‘compensation’, return, etc.
Ahmad is one of the names of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam). It has two meanings; the one who Praises Allah most. (b) The one who is being praised most by people for his good qualities and character.
