Making up for missed prayers in the Hereafter

Question

After Judgment if a Muslim intentionally missed some prayers, and didn't repent for that will he have to pray them while on boiling oil?

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

The Hereafter is in principle a place of reward and punishment not a place for performing commandments or incurring trials.

It is reported that Imam Ahmed said: 'The worldly life is a place of actions, and the Hereafter is a place of reward and punishment. The one, who does not act (according to Shariah) in this life, will regret in the Hereafter.'

There is no correct evidence that a Muslim will make up on the Day of Judgment for the prayers that he had deliberately missed in this life.

Allah informed us that the people of the fire admit they are entering the fire because of not performing the prayers, as He Says (interpretation of meaning): {"What has caused you to enter Hell?" They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salât (prayers).}[74:42-43].

Moreover, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "The first thing a person will be accounted for on the Day of Judgment is his prayers. If his prayers are correct (accepted) he/she will be successful, but if his/her prayers are not accepted, he/she will be a loser." [Reported by Tirmizi and others].

Allah knows best.
