The missed prayers during bleeding outside the time of monthly periods must be made up

Question

I underwent an operation by speculum in my womb. After a month from the operation, some small blood tissue started to come out and then I became pure in the same day at discontinuous intervals. I thought at the beginning that it was menses, so I stopped performing the prayer for half a day and then I performed the prayer. I went to the doctor and he said that this is a disorder in hormones. It should be noted that the menses are not stable. Shall I make up for the prayers which I missed when I had these blood discharges?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

You are obliged to make up for the prayers that you missed during those days, as these are not menses but it is bleeding outside the monthly periods which were caused by a disorder in hormones as the doctor informed you, and that this blood came out outside its regular time.

Allaah Knows best.
