Taking a fee for teaching the Quran

Reciting Surah Al-Jumu'ah every Friday instead of Surah Al-Kahf

In my class one of my friend has told me that he recites Surah-Al-Jumaah every Friday as customary and not Surah-Al-Kahf due to it's length.
Is he doing right by reciting Surah-Al-Jumaah every week as a Habit?

Pharaoh never worshipped Allaah
Salaamu Alaykum Shiekh,
I have a question about Pharoah (Fir'aoun).
My parents said me that Pharoah use to worship ALLAH (The Merciful) the whole night and moreover up side down in hunbleness, but then in day time he would turn into tyrant.
Is there any evidence for his worshipping at night time?

Beginning the school day with Surah al-Faatihah

But this year they have stopped it saying that the kuthubul haja's the dua to be recited before starting the lessons. Because it is very hard for me to read Arabic, and when I read in Arabic, I don't understand much, I prefer to read the translation of the meaning of the Quran. This is because I want to understand. Which is better?
