If a young man repents, torment of grave is withheld from east to west for 40 days. 2. “Whoever fasts the Day of Arafa will have the reward of of ibadah for 2 years and whoever makes someone else aware of it, it is as if it had 80 years of ibadah of prayers ”[rough translation] ..  assalamu alaykum, Are Mawqoof ahadith taken as evidence in Islam?. I read below from an article that it is not taken as evidence. Can you please clarify which is the correct position in this regard. The 'Allamah Jamalud-Din al-Qasimi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: "The saying/action of a Sahabi is not a proof, according to what is more correct."..                                     More
