Fatwa CenterSome of the money he keeps at home always disappears
Question
Whenever we kept the amount its getting short by 50,100 & 250 the currency is in Saudi Riyals. Even we change the places in a room. What may the reason there is no chance to rob by someone of the house members. Hide the money no one knows where the money kept eventhough when I checked getting short. please tell us what is the reason behind.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
These things may happen due to natural reasons; this is the principle, because it may happen that someone may take some of this money without the owner realizing it, whether it is a relative of the owner of the money who took the money or someone else.
However, if you predominantly think that there is something unnatural, then this may be due to the jinn; this is possible and it is something confirmed. Indeed, this happened during the era of the Prophet when the devil tried to steal from the money of the charity as narrated by Abu Hurayrah

Finally, we issued Fatwa 81497 mentioning some advices for whoever thinks that there are some unnatural things in his house which happen due to the jinn, so please refer to it.
