Fatwa CenterHe has a disability and does not find a Muslim wife
Question
-i have a disability in my righ leg (20%)but i can walk and do my job normally.
-i tried to contacte with arab girls for marriage but they refused because of my disability but i knew a lot of girls (not moslim)and no problem to marry any one of them.
-so what s your advice to do cause i want to marry and have childrens

Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, you should know that what a girl should look at in the person who proposes marriage to her is religion and good moral conduct, as it is confirmed that Abu Hurayrah 
narrated that the Prophet said: “If a man whose religion and moral conduct are pleasing to you proposes to you, then let him marry; otherwise there will be great mischief and corruption on earth.” [At-Tirmithi]
Therefore, we advise you to endeavor to find a Muslim girl to marry, whether she is an Arab or a non-Arab. First, you should seek the help of Allaah, and then the help of your friends and so forth. If you cannot find such a girl in the country where you live, then you may find her in another country. It is by marrying a Muslim girl that the objective of marriage is achieved, like the stability of the family, and raising your children according to Islam and its morals.
In case the marriage with a Muslim girl is not facilitated to you, then marrying a woman from the People of the Book is permissible provided she is chaste. However, there are many disadvantages in marrying a woman from the People of the Book that you should take into account, especially those related to her affecting the creed and morals of the children.
