Is it permissible to hang a blue sculptured palm on which some Quranic verses are written?

Accepted Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

If you mean by “blue palm” a piece of wood (or ceramic) that is carved in the shape of a hand, colored in blue and inscribed with some Quranic verses and hung with the belief that it would protect against the evil eye or envy, then it would be impermissible.
