Question
Assalamualikum wa rahmatullahi wabarakat, i want to know if i can perform swalaat after browish discharge. One and a half day after bleeding i appeared this brown discharge for a duration of 3days. I really dont know if im pregnant or not. Please help me. Jzakallah
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
Since this brownish discharge comes out during the days of menses and is connected to it – as it appears from the question – then it is considered as part of the menses. Therefore, you are not permitted to perform the prayer until you become pure either by seeing the white discharge or by becoming dry. If a woman doubts whether or not she is pregnant, and she has blood discharges at the regular time of menses and it has the characteristics of the menstrual blood, then it is menses. So, it is not permissible for you to perform the prayer on the pretext that you may be pregnant and a pregnant woman does not have menses according to the preponderant opinion of the scholars 
. However, nowadays it is very easy for a woman to find out whether or not she is pregnant; for more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 84751, 100850, 91444 and 98693.
