asallamu alakium dear sheikh my question is how authentic is this hadeeth A man came to Muhammad s.a.w. and said RasoolAllah s.a.w. I do not have children please give me a child. Rasool Allah s.a.w. said Ask Allah he will give. The man said NO. I will ask only You please give me a Child. Again RasoolAllah s.a.w. said Ask Allah he will give. Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

We did not find this story in any of the Hadeeth or Sunnah literature available to us, although such literature is quite rich. We did not even find it in the books about Prophetic Medicine such as Zaad Al-Ma‘aad or the like.

Allaah Knows best.
