Question
I suffer from daily Satanic vexations. If I lie down to sleep, my body starts to feel numb until I feel totally paralyzed. I cannot open my eyes or move at all. Then, most of the time, I feel that I am in a strange place and I hear strange sounds and when I scream, my voice does not come out?
What is the treatment for my case?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.
Dear sister, know that you are not the only one who faces such troubles, and that you should have patience with the Divine decree and predestination of Allaah and take care not to be resentful or discontent.
You should also know that benefits and harms are only in the Hands of Allaah, and that He has a great wisdom behind the misfortunes He strikes a Muslim with.
You can overcome this trouble by sincerely resorting to Allaah The Almighty and supplicating to Him to alleviate your troubles and distress. Do not depend or seek the help of any other than Allaah, although this does not mean that you should abandon useful means such as seeking treatment.
