As salaamu alaykum. If a female is speaking to a male for a necessity, how should the male speak to her?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

When a man speaks to a non-Mahram woman (i.e., marriageable) then they must adhere to the following Islamic criteria: they should not speak while in seclusion and they should not speak in a tone or a manner that can lead to temptation (like joking and laughing with one another). Rather, they need to talk only about things that are necessary and are needed.
