Assalau alaykum!I came across an article written by a brother known as c.j.ahmed who claims to have a good understanding in Islam and says that he is upon the understandng of the salaf and he says that if you fear committing zina, then watching porn and masturbating is halal. All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
We apologize for not opening the attached link in the question, as this is our custom in dealing with the links mentioned in questions.
In regard to this subject we say: Watching pornographic movies is forbidden and an apparent evil, and it is one of the causes of corruption.
Viewing at large what is forbidden is a temptation to the heart and one of the arrows of Satan; it is for this reason that Allah forbade it and ordered us to lower our gaze.
Allah Says (what means): {Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do.} [Quran 24:30]
If someone resorts to watching these heinous videos on the claim that this would protect him from committing Zina (fornication or adultery), then he only has an illusion.
His example is like the one who wants to protect himself from the heat of the sun by throwing himself into real blazing fire.
Watching them urges one’s desires and lust, and this may lead one to commit Zina and not protect himself from it.
If someone wants to avoid adultery, he should refrain from its causes, and act according to the advice of the Prophet to the youth.
‘Abdullah Ibn Mas’ood 
narrated that the Prophet said: “O young people! Whoever can marry should marry, as it helps to lower one’s gaze, and protects one’s private parts, and whoever is not able to marry should fast, as this helps him to protect his private parts (from committing illegal sexual intercourse).” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
The Prophet instructed the youth to fast and not to do any other matter.
