Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Allah informed us that in Paradise there is whatever the soul desires.

Allah Says (what means):

* {...And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes....} [Quran 43:71]

* {...And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish].} [Quran 41:31]

A woman is rewarded for her deeds just like a man. So, if she does a deed whose reward is a house in Paradise – such as observing the Sunnan prayers – then she gets it.

The Ahadeeth that state that if anyone does such and such a deed, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise, are general and they include both men and women, and they are not particular to men.

The fact that if a woman enters Paradise, she will be a wife to one of its inhabitants does not prevent her from having a house in Paradise. For example, our mother Khadeejah may Allaah be pleased with her was given glad tidings of a house in Paradise even though she is with the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) in Paradise.

Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him narrated: "Jibreel (Gabriel) came to the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger! This is Khadeejah coming to you with a dish having meat soup (or some food or drink). When she reaches you, greet her on behalf of her Lord (i.e. Allah) and on my behalf, and give her the glad tidings of having a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue (trouble)." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

The interpreters of the Hadeeth said: "The meaning of a palace of jewels means jewels of pearls, wherein there is no noise nor fatigue (trouble); meaning there is no loud noises and no fatigue in it but quietness, comfort, and tranquility."

It is permissible for a woman – as it is permissible for a man – to ask Allah to bless her with a house in Paradise. Allah informed us in His Book about the wife of Pharaoh that she said (what means): {..."My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."} [Quran 66:11]
