Please read the following carefully and in its entirety. I experience discharge after urination (mathy). I don’t believe that it is incontinence because it stops eventually (sometimes). But it takes very long because i have to exert much effort in order to clear my “passage” of all of the mathy. Due to this issue, I am missing prayers. If I don’t go through the process (of releasing all discharge [by pushing, squeezing, etc.]), then i fear that mathy will come out while i make wudu or pray (which has happened before); I don’t wish to take chances and then end up being negligent. Also, sometimes the process takes so long, that i end up getting tired and/or I produce more urine, which means the process starts over (the discharge comes out after urinating, but it may also come out on its own after long periods of time, even though I don’t experience any sexual arousal). Now that I am missing prayers, I am being tempted to other sins. I am afraid for my own well being as I feel that Satan is taking this opportunity to progressively drag me into other sins as I am in a vulnerable state. I seek your all’s counsel.
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
This discharge that comes out after urinating is known as Wadyy (a thick white liquid). If it does not come out continuously, meaning that it stops during the prescribed time of the prayer for an interval of time that is sufficient to perform ablution and pray while being in a state of perfect ritual purity, then you should wait for the discharge to stop then perform ablution and pray during that time. However, if you fear that this discharge will not cease until the prescribed time of the prayer ends and there is no known time for its stopping, then you are subject to the ruling of the person suffering incontinence. This means that you should perform ablution after the time of the relative prayer starts and pray the obligatory and voluntary prayers, as needed, with that ablution until the time of the current prayer expires. Our advice for you is to seek medical treatment to the best of your ability until Allah, The Exalted, grants you recovery. We ask Allah, The Exalted, to bless you with wellness.
Allah knows best.
