Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

As a general rule one may take commission for bringing new customers to a company or to anyone else. This commission is known as "Samsarah" in the terminology of Islamic Fiqh.
However, the permissibility of gaining commission depends on the transaction itself. If the transaction between a company and its customers is legally valid then receiving commission on such services is permissible, otherwise it is not permissible.
As you know payments in gold transactions should be hand to hand, any delay in payment or in receiving the gold is not permissible in Shariah. Read the Fatwa: 83301.
Allah knows best.
