Question

What is the Ahmadiyah group here in Israel?

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

al-Ahmadiya group that exists today in the Jewish state is the same group that is called al-Qadiyaniya. Such a group was named after Ahmad al-Qadiyani , who appeared in India in the previous century. He claimed prophecy and that some of his writings were revealed to him as stated in his book. He spent his life inviting people to follow him as a Prophet and Messenger. He denied the obligation of Jihad and other Islamic rulings.
These group is, in fact, a wicked colonial tool. Contemporary Muslim scholars agreed upon disbelief of this group. The Fiqh Assembly meeting held between 10-16 of Rabi' al-Akhir 1406 A.H in Jeddah issued a decree that states: Mirza Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiyani and those who follow his creed are apostate and are not from the fold of Muslims.
Here, it is needed to clarify that there is another group with the same name "al-Ahmadiyah" named after their Sheikh Ahmad al-Rifa'i . The latter is a Sufi group, and its followers are not apostate, but they are on innovation.
Sometimes, this latter group is called al-Rifa'iyah. For more details an al-Qadiyaniya check "al-Qadiyaniya" book by Ihsan Ilahi Zaheer .
Allah knows best.
