Question
My relative has Jinn (ghost) at his house, and it is disappearing dishes, watch, glasses, etc. from the house. Please tell me what should my relative read so that Jinn will go away.
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. If it is confirmed or if you strongly believe that the devil exists in your house then the Islamic method to take it out is as follows. 1. Continuously reciting the Qur'an especially, the Surah al-Baqarah. Imam Muslim reported from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: Do not make your houses as graveyards, Satan runs away from the house in which Surah al-Baqarah is recited . 2. Frequently making Du'a to Allah to expel this Satan. 3. Observing the supplications that are recited at morning, evening, when entering the house, going out of it, and at the time of eating, drinking, etc. 4. Performing supererogatory prayers in the house as much as you could. 5. Taking out all things that could attract a Satan such as sins, musical instruments, pictures, etc. Allah knows best.
