There will be good results Insha Allah, but do not hasten

Question

Since the beginning of my marriage which was about 6 years now, my husband and I had a spell on us, the reason why I know this, is because I started seeing the Jinns' faces on the carpet, and feeling them on my body, which made me develop a fear in my life, supposedly this was done, to make me divorce my husband, so another would marry him, but we are not having that many problems, so what happens, is that it effects me when I sleep especially. I do the Athkar, I read the Ruqeyya, I am a person that is into religion, and I already let a sheikh read Qur'an on me, he did communicate with the Jinn, but doesn't take money from people, but he told me that every time I get one out of you, another one would come, so my question is: is there any thing that you can help with? To stop this spell? I have read the Fatawa that you have for Sehr, and I did all that a person should do.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. The believing person should be certain that his Du'a will be responded to as Allah promised to respond to the Du'a of the believing person unless he/she hastens. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {And your Lord says: Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer):….}[40:60]. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) also said: The Du'a of the servant of Allah will be responded to unless he asks for severing of kinship ties and provided he/she does not hasten. Someone said: 'O! Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) of Allah and how does the person hasten?' He said: "He says: I supplicated but have no response, and as a result, he becomes sad and gives up Du'a." [Reported by Imams al-Bukhari and Muslim ] So, we advise this sister to keep on making daily Adhkar and Du'a that are soundly reported from the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam). She should also read as much Qur'an as she can. It is also necessary that she adheres to all obligatory prayers as well as all other religious duties and rites. She must stay away from anything that could make Allah angry with her and could give Satan an opportunity to urge her commit sins. Pictures, songs, musical instruments, dogs and sins are all gates that Satan uses. Know also that Du'a and Ruqiya are like weapons. For instance the sword's effect gets stronger or weaker according to the strength of the wrist of the person who uses it. Similarly the effect of Du'a and Ruqiya appears and becomes more profitable according to the strength of the faith of the believer as well as the purity of his creed and his remoteness from sins. The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) was bewitched and Angel Jibril (Gabriel) treated him with the last two Surah of the Qur'an (113-114). Allah Cured him immediately. [Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim ] During the life of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam), a chief of an Arab tribe was bitten by a scorpion. Abu Said al-Khudri , one of the companions of the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) made Ruqiya for him using al-Fatihah. Then the man was cured immediately: This story is also reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim . So, we urge this sister to continue making Ruqiya for herself and reciting authentic Adhkar that were reported from the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam). We advise her also to drink from Zam-Zam water, have some honey some dates and some black seeds. There is no objection that she goes to a person who does Ruqiya provided he is known to be pious and not to practise innovations and provided she is accompanied by one of her Mahrams as it is forbidden for her to stay in seclusion with any alien man. We emphasize that she should stay away from magicians and jugglers as going to them is prohibited. Allah knows best.
