Question
How can the creator of all life sanction murder of the life he has created? Whether it is justified or not isn't his to take and his alone!
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. Islam means full submission to Allah The Almighty Alone. This submission should be in everything. Indeed, Allah is The Only One who deserves it as it is He Who has the Absolute Power and the Highest Status. It is He who brings His slaves to account and punishes them or rewards them for their deeds while the slaves cannot seek explanation from Him. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {He cannot be questioned For his acts, but they will be questioned (for theirs).}[21:23]. So, it is rude to question Allah's Decrees. It is even Kufr that the person believes any lack of wisdom in what Allah does or decrees, because this contradicts the full submission. It is compulsory upon the person to believe that there is great wisdom behind anything that happens in this world. This wisdom might be known as it might be unknown to us. So, we believe that there is a great wisdom behind taking the lives away from the living beings. Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) we give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that he may take to himself from your ranks martyr witnesses (to truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. Allah's object also is to purge those that are true in Faith and to deprive of blessing those that resist Faith.}[3:140-141]. Allah knows best.
