Accepted Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

It is not permissible for a Muslim to act according to a belief, an act or word or morals that contradict the religion of Islam. Residing in Europe is not a sound excuse to disregard the Islamic Law on the grounds that he is not residing in a Muslim country. However, there is no harm in accepting the things that do not contradict Islam while preserving one's identity, being proud of one's religion, and showing its rituals and calling to it according to the best of one's ability. Unless one can do so, one should leave the land of the non-Muslims and migrate to the land of Muslims if one is able. For more benefit, please refer to Fataawa: 87373, 86405 and 81642.
