A woman who is traveling

Question

I plan to go a distance that is considered traveling. I want to go half the distance by myself, (which is not considered traveling) meet my Mahram there and have him accompany me the rest of the way. Is this permissible?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

If the distance that you are going to travel alone is not considered as a travel according to the customs [of the country where you live] then there is no harm on you for traveling this distance without a Mahram (a non-marriageable relative).
