salam.Do animals also see The Angel of Death during their departure from this world?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
We are not aware of any evidence from the Book of Allaah or the Sunnah of the Prophet 
which confirms or denies that the angel of death takes the soul of animals when they die, and whether or not the animals see the angel of death.
We advise you instead to ask questions about things that are of benefit and which entail actions that bring someone closer to Allaah, and avoid asking questions the answers to which do not benefit the person and not knowing their answer would do not harm him. In fact, what benefit will you get by knowing whether or not the animals see the angel of death?
