AA, in a book I am reading about Salman Al-Farisi, it says he was the first one to translate the Quran into Persian. Is this true? JAK
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
We have not come across any evidence in the books of the scholars 
proving that Salmaan Al-Faarisi 
was the first person to translate the Quran into Persian.
