Describing a person as being 'self-sufficient'
As-salaamu 3laikum, I want to know about the ruling on using the term 'self-sufficient'. I was speaking with my sister who is non-Muslim and she was using this word to mean being financially independent of the other members of the family and not asking them for help etc. Is it ok to use this word? Ruling on cursing the disbelievers
What if someone (silently)cursed a disbeliever who mocks Islam and the Prophet, out of anger and later regrets it for being hotheaded is there a chance that the curse may return to them because they are not such strong believers in the first place? .. More

When saying 'if only' is permissible

And my second question is, when praying funeral for woman should one make dua saying "And give her spouse better than of this world"? Permissible to say: I am proud of being a Muslim
Salam alaikum, Many Muslims say "I am PROUD being a Muslim." and I am wondering if that is permissable? Shouldn't we rather say "I am THANKFUL I am a Muslim."?
