Question
Salaam Alaikum, Dear Sir, I am working in construction company in doha, as a senior drafssman. my job is to prepare drawings for the projects. my question is, Is working in a bank's construction division which is not related in any financial transaction with it's coustomers allowed in islam. If "No" than wht is the daleel.
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
If the bank deals with Riba (interest and/or usury), then it is not permissible for you to work in any of its divisions even if this division does not have any relation with financial transactions because the bank is one institution and all its parts are of one another in the sense that they complete and strengthen one another, so working in any of its divisions is helping it in sin and Allaah Says (what means): {…but do not help one another in sin and transgression.}[Quran 5:2]
