All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

The basic principle is the impermissibility for a woman to be treated by Non-Mahram doctors if there are female doctors, even if they are non-Muslims, especially for this type of illness whose treatment necessitates uncovering such parts of the body.

If you cannot find a female doctor – even if she is not a Muslim – and the necessity requires to be treated by a male doctor, then there is nothing wrong with that, provided that a Mahram or husband attends.

You should only uncover the part needed to be diagnosed and seek out the doctors who are trustworthy.

We ask Allah the Almighty to heal you.

We advise you to supplicate Allah as much as possible and perform Ruqyah.

Allah Knows Best.
