Is a woman's palm 'Awrah?

Question

Aselamualykum is it permissble for a woman to show her hands on youtube?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

If you mean by the hand, only the palm, then the ruling on a woman showing her palm in the video clips is based upon the ruling on the woman’s palm, is it ‘Awrah or not?
The scholars have two opinions regarding it. The scholars who are of the view that it is permissible to look at her palm stipulate that there is no fear of Fitnah (temptation).
The Hanbalis view a woman's palm as 'Awrah. Al-Mardaawi Al-Hanbali said in Al-Insaf: “There are two narrations on the palms... One of them is that it is ‘Awrah, and that is the ruling that the Madh'hab adopts, and it is the view of the majority of scholars.” We have previously issued fatwas that it is not permissible for a woman to show her palms on social media sites where foreigners can see them. And it is impermissible for a greater reason if what the questioner means by the hand is something that is more general than the palm, such as the forearm and arms.

Allah knows best.
