All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad
is His slave and Messenger.
If your wife has falsely accused you of domestic violence, then there is no doubt that she has done wrong by doing so. However, since Allah has blessed you with a child from her, we advise you not to hasten to divorce her. It is better to strive for reconciliation, seeking help in that from righteous brothers in Islamic centres, as well as the wise and rational members of your own family and hers.
Meanwhile, engage frequently in supplication and prayer, asking Allah the Almighty for guidance and success. Perhaps these sincere efforts will be a means of restoring harmony between you and her.
If reconciliation is achieved, then praise be to Allah, but if it is not possible, then carefully weigh the harm that may result from remaining with her against the harm that may result from divorcing her, keeping in mind the best interest of the child.
We ask Allah, the Exalted, to guide you to what is right.
Allah knows best.
