Women giving Da'wah on Internet

Question

I would like to know if a women can give a Da'wah in a public place like the Internet? Tell me a hadith or Surah/ayat that mentions that in the Quran.Jazaka allah.

Answer

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

Allah says: {And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allâh (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allâh's (Islâmic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} [41:33]
The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: "If Allah helps you to convert somebody to Islam, that is better for you than the red camels." [ Bukhari and Muslim ]
There are many verses and Hadith that urge Muslims to invite others to Allah, to pray, to give Zakah, to fast, to perform Hajj, to believe in all articles of faith, to have good manners such as honesty, treating neighbors and relatives well, and to wage jihad and so on.
But, one who commits himself to Da'wah, has to have insight.
Allah says: {Say (O Muhammad SAW): "This is my way; I invite unto Allâh (i.e. to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allâh i.e to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge.} [12:108]
One needs knowledge concerning: (1) one's aim and goal, (2) the persons whom you invite, and the way of Da'wah as well as all that is required to accomplish the goal, i.e. legal means and ways.
Here, we state that "Internet" is an effective means that could be useful for Da'wah and spreading Islam to all places. This means is not costly and it is one of the most appropriate means to spread the message of Islam.
This constitutes an urgent invitation to all Muslim to employ this means for the service of Islam, especially in the persistent and continuous usage of this means by enemies of Islam to distort its teachings and defame its image.
Thus, we think that it is desirable to use the internet for Da'wah to Allah, and there is not difference between a man and a woman, especially she employs it from her home.
But, one has to be careful of the wiles and traps used by enemies to tempt those who invite to Islam by exposing porno sites.
Allah knows best.
