Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions

First of all we ask Allaah to release your sorrow and facilitate your affairs. You have to know that what you are experiencing is a kind of trial, so you have to be patient. This matter could be caused by physical or psychological diseases, thus you have to consult doctors specialised in the field. It could also be caused by magic, an evil eye and the like.

Therefore we advise you to perform Ruqyah by reading Qur'aanic verses and blowing your breath on your palms then wiping your body after reciting some chapters, especially Al-Faatihah and chapters No. 112, 113 and 114. You have to do the same as well by reading the supplications and remembrance stated in the Qur'aan and the Prophetic narrations. The supplications of the morning and evening are of a big benefit in this. There is no harm for your husband to perform Ruqyah on you or a righteous believer in the presence of one of your Mahaarim (non-marriageable relatives), but you must be dressed in Hijab (Islaamic attire for women) and show signs of bashfulness. One of the best ways to be cured, however, is to be steadfast on the obedience of Allaah by performing obligations and staying away from prohibitions. All good lies in persisting in supplicating to Allaah. We have an example in Prophet Ayyoob (Job) may Allaah exalt his mention as Allaah says regarding him (interpretation of the meaning): {And remember Ayyoob may Allaah exalt his mention when he cried to his Lord: ''Verily, distress has seized me, and you are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy.}[21:83]. So Allaah answered his call, and removed the distress that was on him.

Allaah knows best.
