All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

Eyelashes are part of the face which must be washed when performing ablution. So, if dyeing them with mascara prevents water from reaching the eyelashes, like if this product is water proof, then it is not permissible to perform ablution with it. However, if this mascara is not water proof, like Henna, then there is no harm in performing ablution with it.

As regards whether or not mascara invalidates ablution by itself, the answer is no.
