Fatwa CenterHer pious mother suffered a lot at the time of her death
Question
Salamualikum.We r 3 sister's and a brother(none of us got married we all r just in 20's).3months back our mother died due to sudden heart attack,she got 3 attacks in one day.My mother was a very pious lady ,she recites Quran everyday,offers 5 times prayer,helps the needy people,she try her best to eascape from backbitting,she was right hand of my father Alhumdulillah inspite of all this my mother suffered alot of pain at the time of dieing and in hospital she lost her hijab also.What does that mean?we all r missing our mother alot we can't express also but for Allah's sake we r doing sabr on this.Please send me the answer as soon as possible.eagerly waiting.Jazzaq Allah Khairum.Allah Hafiz
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad 
is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, please accept our condolences on the occasion of the death of your mother, and we ask Allaah to forgive her, have mercy upon her and admit her to Paradise.
The fact that your mother was not able to keep her Hijab on when she was sick and disclosed part of her body does not mean that this is a bad end of her life, and she is not sinful for doing so, Allaah willing.
Therefore, you should not worry about this matter; rather, you should endeavour to be kind to her after her death by supplicating for her, seeking forgiveness for her, being generous to her female friends, and keeping ties of kinship which are dependent on her.
