Prohibition of musical instruments in the Quran
I asked one Imam that are dancing and music are haram? .. He said yes.. Further i asked that i have heard that Strings Instruments and Drums are haram is Islam and are mentioned in Quran.. And he said yes and quote one Surah in the Quran. I forgot the name of that surah but is it true, that it is mentioned in Quran.

A Sri Lankan Muslim supporting the Pakistani cricket team
I am a Sri Lankan but i'm supporting Pakistan cricket team when they are playing with sri lankan also. The main reason i support them is I like them and they are muslims. But some of my relation are telling it is not allowed to support when Pakistan & Sri Lanka are playing because Sri Lanka is your mother land.

Drawing faces with closed eyes
Assalamu Alaikum,
I attend an art club at my school (Islamic school) and the teacher said that it was okay to draw faces as long as the eyes were drawn closed. Is this true? She said that she asked a shiek, but I still have some doubts.

School used to hang students' photos on the wall
As-salamu'aleikum, At my children's school, it is a habit to stick passport-sized photos on the wall of students who study in the same class or who got the highest grades in their class, etc. When they have a party, they take pictures and stick them on the wall, too. Danced with his wife in a dance club
I wanted to know if it is permissible, or if it is haram, or what is the conclusion, of bringing my wife to a dance club. We have done so before, without drinking alcohol or anything, and just danced with each other. The atmosphere is fun to dance with.
