Ruling on conditional divorce in the past tense
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu. My question is regarding a conditional promise of divorce. If the phrase is in the future it counts as a promise of divorce. Attributing a child to the grandfather's name or the mother's name
Is it compulsary to name a son after the father's name? In india/pakistan, we give the family name to the son and not the father's name. For example, a father named Saajid Mohammed names his son Waajid Mohammed. Mohammed is his father's name while the father's name Saajid is not added to the name. Why hijab should be plain
I understand and agree with the concept of a Muslimah's dress in public being simple, but is it really required to wear plain clothing with no designs and so on it? Assalaamu alaykum. Is it permissible in Islam for a women to be a guide for a blind male work collegue (they are not married or related).
